Each year, Soroptimist International of Greater Cleveland provides education awards to women who are working tirelessly to build better futures for themselves and their children. The Live Your Dream Awards is a powerful evening of recognition, inspiration, and community.

The Great Chocolate Chase 5K
The Great Chocolate Chase 5K is Soroptimist International of Cleveland’s main fundraising event this year, bringing our community together in support of women and girls right here in Greater Cleveland.
Held on May 9, 2026 at the beautiful Rocky River Reservation, this welcoming run/walk invites participants of all ages and abilities to enjoy a scenic course, commemorative race t-shirts, and — of course — a sweet chocolate reward at the finish line.
Proceeds from this annual event directly fund programs that promote education, economic empowerment, and opportunity — including the Live Your Dream Award, which supports women pursuing education while supporting their families, and Dream It, Be It workshops that inspire teen girls to explore career paths and reach their full potential.
Join us for a morning of movement, community, and purpose — and help us move our mission forward, one step at a time.

Soroptimist International of Cleveland is part of a global volunteer organization that provides women and girls with access to the education and training they need to achieve economic empowerment, especially those facing significant obstacles.
Through our programs and service projects, Soroptimist International of Cleveland empowers women, girls, and their families in the Greater Cleveland Area and Northeast Ohio.

Live Your Dream Awards
Soroptimist's Live Your Dream Awards program is a unique education award for women who provide the primary financial support for their families. The Live Your Dream Awards give women the resources they need to improve their education, skills and employment prospects.
Dream It, Be It
Dream It, Be It: Career Support for Girls gives girls the tools they need to achieve their education and career goals, empowering them to break cycles of poverty, violence, and abuse.
Volunteering
Our service efforts provide the muscle and on-the-ground work that makes our community come alive. Soroptimist of Cleveland members pay it forward through consistent on-site support at local charities.
